Although the Seattle Seahawks ushered in a bit of a youth movement this offseason, they still managed to bring in some veteran players to the roster. Among the more notable names is wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

The point is Seattle's history, not to mention a contract that includes only $90,000 guaranteed, suggests Marshall is no lock to make the team.

The notion of Marshall not being able to make the team seems a bit far-fetched considering how desperate they are for more playmakers outside of quarterback Russell Wilson and wide receiver Doug Baldwin. There was plenty of hype surrounding his signing with the New York Giants. Unfortunately, his tenure with the Giants lasted just five games after he suffered a season-ending ankle injury. He has also had surgery on his two since then. Marshall has admittedly not been on the field this offseason either due to a hamstring injury. That said, his chances of staying in Seattle are looking a little bleak at the moment.

Seattle has a number of needs to fill in training camp amidst all the changes they made this offseason. Marshall will need to show he can contribute if he is to garner a spot on the roster, let alone an integral role in the offense.
