UFC fighters tend to have big problems with their noses. Broken noses usually lead to broken septums and they just can't breathe right. Fighters like Sean Brady have big problems with their nose during fights, as was the case against Michael Chiesa.

Sean Brady has a tendency to break his nose and he can never figure out when it will become a problem. Rory MacDonald was never the same after breaking his nose at UFC 189 against Robbie Lawler.

Sean Brady had his nose break against Michael Chiesa at UFC Vegas 43. It was the last straw for the welterweight.

“It’s something I’ve got to get taken care of now so it’s not a problem in the future,” the UFC welterweight said Monday on The MMA Hour.

He won the fight though and moved up to number 9 in the UFC welterweight rankings. It didn't matter what obstacle was in his way, Sean Brady was going to get the win.

“I was just sucking blood the entire fight,” Brady said. “I wanted to do more and show more, because I’ve been off for a while, I had two cancelled fights and an injury. I just wanted to show more of who I am.”

It was getting difficult for Brady to breathe as his nose was gushing blood. At one point during UFC Vegas 43, he looked down to see just how much blood was pouring out.

“I looked at his back, and there was so much blood on his back,” Brady said. “Man, it was pretty bad. It was dripping into my throat. So I’m trying to breathe, and while I’m breathing, I’m sucking in blood.”

Here's hoping that surgery helps the UFC welterweight end the issues with his nose and get back on track. It will be nice for him not to worry about it.
