The 5-0 Seattle Seahawks will look to remain undefeated in Week 7 when they travel to the desert to face the 4-2 Arizona Cardinals in an NFC West Divisional battle.

The Seahawks had Week 6 off as their bye week. They defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 at home on Sunday Night Football, the same night the Los Angeles Lakers won the 2020 NBA title over the Miami Heat.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, beat the brakes off the Dallas Cowboys to close out Week 6 on Monday Night Football. This NFC West rivalry game should be a good one, as both teams are playing sound football early on in the season.

With the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles kicking off Week 7 on Thursday Night Football, let's take a look at four bold predictions for the Seahawks-Cardinals games from a Seattle perspective.

4. Russell Wilson continues MVP start

Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson has to be considered the frontrunner for the MVP award at this juncture of the season. He's thrown for 1,502 yards and 19 touchdowns while completing 72.8 percent of his passes. The one-time Super Bowl champion only has three picks through five games and is making defenders look silly with his ability to escape pass rushers in the pocket.

Against the Cardinals, look for Wilson to continue his MVP start by putting up stellar numbers. He's faced the Cardinals 16 times in his career and thrown for 24 touchdowns and 3,398 yards.

Wilson is arguably the best deep-ball thrower in the NFL. The Cardinals, while they have ball-hawking players in their secondary, are going to have a hard time intercepting Wilson due to his precision passing and excellent decision-making skills. Look for the Seahawks' leader to get close to 300 yards passing and throw a couple of touchdowns.

3. D.K. Metcalf scores one touchdown and eclipses 100 yards

In just his second season in the NFL, D.K. Metcalf is already one of the best players at his position. Seahawks safety Jamal Adams called Metcalf the second coming of Calvin Johnson, who was nicknamed “Megatron” during his Hall of Fame run with the Detroit Lions.

In five games this season, Metcalf has caught 22 balls for 496 yards and five touchdowns from Wilson. Look for the 6-foot-4 wideout to score one touchdown against the Cardinals and eclipse the 100-yard mark for the third time this season.

Metcalf leads the NFL in receiving yards per reception at 22.5. He has developed an incredible rapport with Wilson and the two Seahawks stars will likely connect on a few homerun plays against the Cardinals.

The Cardinals will likely put Patrick Peterson on Metcalf. That's going to be a really good matchup between two of the best players at their respective positions, but look for D.K. to get the best of Peterson in Week 7.

2. Seahawks defense intercepts Kyler Murray twice

Kyler Murray was pretty subpar against the Cowboys in Week 6 despite getting the win. He only went 9-of-24 for 188 yards, though he did throw two touchdown passes and run for one.

Against the Seahawks, who have a way better defense than the Cowboys, Murray is going to struggle. Look for Seattle to intercept the former No. 1 overall pick two times and set up their offense with great field position.

The Seahawks are hoping Adams can play in this game. He has been absent from the lineup during the previous two games due to a groin strain and it is still uncertain if he will play against the Cardinals. Seattle is hoping its bye week was enough time for Adams to get proper treatment and rest.

1. Seahawks defeat Cardinals to improve to 6-0

Even though Seattle may be a little rusty coming off its bye week to begin the game, head coach Pete Carroll and his staff will have the guys ready to go when it matters the most.

The Seahawks will win this game to improve to 6-0 on the season. They have the better quarterback, defense, offense and head coach. Wilson is playing out of his mind right now and doesn't appear fazed by any defense he's seeing. In a battle of two short, mobile quarterbacks, Wilson is going to get the best of Murray and show the youngster that the NFC West still runs through him and the Seahawks.

Seattle isn't going to go undefeated this season, but the team is going to come pretty close to running the table. They are as complete of a football team as you are going to see in the NFL and have a quarterback who is basically playing a different game than everyone else right now.
