Ben Simmons was kicked out of the Philadelphia 76ers' practice Tuesday after he did not participate to the ability Doc Rivers wanted him to.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver joined Malika Andrews on NBA Today and expressed how he wasn't too pleased with the situation between Simmons and the Sixers.

“It's something you never like to see as a league,” Silver shared.

For what it's worth, Silver also said it has been a problem in the league for many years and isn't a “modern issue” that the public is making it to be.

Ben Simmons has also been suspended for Wednesday's season opener for conduct that was deemed detrimental to the team. The Sixers are traveling to the Smoothie King Center on Wednesday to take on the New Orleans Pelicans.

Philadelphia will have to make a decision on Simmons sooner rather than later. The issue is causing problems for the Sixers and the rest of the league, per Adam Silver.

The Sixers are looking for an All-Star back for Simmons. If Simmons keeps showing the league that he doesn't want to participate, many teams will be worried about making a trade for him. The Sixers are in a tough spot as the Australian doesn't look to be any sort of interested in playing in Philadelphia.

Silver isn't too happy about this situation and he hopes it's resolved soon.
