Sixers forward Danny Green left Game 3 on Friday with what was deemed a calf strain. While he didn't return, his status is very up in the air for the remainder of this Hawks series.

Green is set to undergo an MRI on Saturday which is going to identify the severity of the injury, but Doc Rivers has basically ruled him out at this point, per NBC Sports' Kurt Helin:

It’s a calf injury. With my doctor’s degree, I would tell you that calf injuries aren’t great…” the Sixers coach said. “Just the next guy has to step up, not sure who that’s going to be yet. We’ll go back, watch film, and decide who that will be.

“I’m not ruling Danny out, but I’m pretty much ruling him out. I doubt if he plays the next game.”

Green hasn't made much of an impact in the playoffs thus far for the Sixers, however. He's averaging just seven points per game while shooting 37.8% from downtown. The three-time NBA champion does bring a ton of experience to the roster though and serves as one of the Sixers' best three-point shooters.

Furkan Korkmaz filled in for Green on Friday and had a banner night, dropping a career playoff-high of 14 points. It's likely we see him slide into the starting lineup with Green out for the time being.

At this point, who knows how long he could be out. Anthony Davis also had a calf strain during the regular season and he missed 30 games. For the Sixers' sake, hopefully, it's not a prolonged amount of time.
