Philadelphia Sixers big man Dwight Howard has been involved in an off-court allegation regarding his pet snakes. The lawsuit was filed by two individuals named Armica Nabaa and Kamisha Shelman who were both hired by Howard back in Dec. 2018, per TMZ Sports.

The women were initially tasked to handle administrative and business affairs for the eight-time All-Star but were eventually given more responsibilities as time went on. In light of their hiring, Howard allegedly sacked his groundskeeper, butler, and maid who were the ones responsible for looking after his Atlanta-area mansion.

Both Nabaa and Shelman were then instructed to take care of Howard's intensive snake collection which includes Cleopatra, described as “a constrictor that can grow to a final length of 25 feet and over 200 pounds”, per TMZ. The said collection was even featured on an episode in the American reality TV show ‘Tanked'.

The main issue of the lawsuit tackled the women's sudden firing from their employer in Howard who has still failed to issue them their respective paychecks after rendering services for him.

Nabaa also revealed that she played a part in bringing the big man back to the league. She apparently used her connections that helped Howard land a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers last season where he went on to win a championship title with.

Both women are reportedly demanding at least $50,000 in unpaid wages which include compensation for other fees plus damages. Dwight Howard will surely have a lot on his plate in the coming months as he prepares for the upcoming season with his new team along with handling a lawsuit involving his pet snakes.
