Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid missed practice on Sunday due to a migraine and is officially questionable for the Sixers' Monday night game against the Detroit Pistons.

Joel Embiid was given the night off in Friday's 117-111 win over the Pistons in Detroit.

The 7-footer hasn't exactly been thrilled with his recent play, as he has struggled to find consistency on the offensive side of the court. Embiid has scored 16 points or less in the past three games, and he's shot 14 of 42 from the floor during that stretch.

Now, he could be sidelined for another game after missing today's practice, according to Sixers beat writer Tom Moore.

Despite the recent struggles, Embiid is still averaging 26.3 points and 13.3 rebounds while playing 34.3 minutes per contest.

Much has been made about his play since the recent trade for former Minnesota Timberwolves star Jimmy Butler, but it seems likely that everything will work out just fine for a Philly team that has the talent to make the NBA Finals.

The Sixers are off to an 18-9 start and sit at second in the Atlantic Division after a very successful November. Things are starting to progress nicely for the team as they try to make the most of their next three home games, which will include matchups against Detroit, Brooklyn, and Indiana.

After that, the Sixers will enter a crucial stretch of games that will feature some important road trips that could help them continue to stay near the top of the Eastern Conference standings.
