NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley recently said Sixers star big man Joel Embiid should start swimming because it will help him with his conditioning.

Embiid has been dealing with left knee soreness and missed a bunch of games at the end of the regular season. He also didn't play in Game 3 against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Sixers' best player has been huffing and puffing on the court and told reporters his conditioning is not where it needs to be right now. Unfortunately, Embiid can't take Barkley's suggestion of swimming because he's scared of water and doesn't know how to swim.

His conditioning might not be the best right now, but Embiid is still dominating on the court. The Sixers are up 3-1 against the Nets and will look to close the series out at home on Tuesday.

Embiid is averaging 25.3 points, 13.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.7 blocks in three games against the Nets. The two-time All-Star is shooting 51.0 percent from the field and 78.1 percent from the free-throw line. So while he may not be 100 percent, Embiid is still a handful to deal with on the basketball court.

The Sixers have rebounded nicely after getting embarrassed in Game 1. All signs point to the Sixers and Toronto Raptors meeting in the second round.
