Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid says the Sixers' “spirit” is good despite their current three-game losing streak.

Since defeating the Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas, the Sixers have lost to the Orlando Magic, Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers. Philly is now 23-13 on the season, sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

“It has been a rough last three games, but we're good. I don't really want to share what goes on inside, but we're good, I feel like everybody has a good spirit and we know we're going to get out of it,” Embiid said, via Philly Voice.

“I don't talk much, I lead by example, but if I feel the need to say something I will, and as a leader you kind of have to do that. That's what you got to do.”

The Sixers will look to snap their losing streak on Friday on the road against James Harden, Russell Westbrook and the Houston Rockets.

In 29 games this season for the Sixers, Embiid is averaging 23.7 points, 12.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists. The two-time All-Star is shooting 47.7 percent from the field, 33.9 percent from beyond the arc and 83.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Before the season started, a lot of pundits picked the Sixers to meet the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals. Philly still has a lot of work to do to ultimately reach its full potential.
