The Philadelphia 76ers are off to a slow start of the gate in the 2017-18 season after dropping their first two games.

Following Friday's loss against the Boston Celtics, rising star big man Joel Embiid vented out his frustrations about not getting enough touches in the low post.

It was a rough shooting performance for Embiid against the Celtics as he made just 4-of-16 attempts from the field, including missing all six of his attempts from beyond the arc. He was able to remain a factor on the glass grabbing a game-high 14 rebounds in just 28 minutes of action.

Although he was tied for the team high in shot attempts, his effectiveness as a player has been working in the low post. The fact that he took six 3-pointers should draw some attention toward switching up the game plan a bit when he's on the floor.

Embiid has proven that he can be a highly effective player with the ball in his hand on the low block, which should be a point of emphasis moving forward. He is one of the primary offensive weapons on the team and the 76ers' success largely hinges on his ability to be a dependable scorer. These comments may lead some alteration in the offensive game plan.
