Sixers combo guard Josh Richardson suffered a concussion on Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers and left the game.

The Sixers announced on Monday that Richardson won't play on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers, who have the best record in the Western Conference:

Richardson has appeared in 47 games for the Sixers this season. He's averaging 13.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 43.0 percent from the field, 32.5 percent from beyond the arc and 79.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The Sixers are 37-24 on the season. They are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The 76ers are going to have a hard time defeating the Lakers without Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and now Josh Richardson. Plus, as we all know, the Sixers are a terrible road team. Philly is only 9-22 away from the Wells Fargo Center.
