Since making it to the NBA, Marco Belinelli has made a name for himself as a knock down shooter, especially from beyond the arc. However, a lot of fans also remember him for having a resemblance with a young Sylvester Stallone, particularly when he starred in the iconic Rocky movies.

The 31-year-old Italian international recently poked fun at himself when he took to his Twitter account to share a hilarious photoshop of himself as Rocky, and adding a caption that gives a shoutout to his new team, the Philadelphia 76ers.

Belinelli recently reached a buyout agreement with the Atlanta Hawks, which resulted to him being targeted by multiple teams around the league. His ability to shoot outside shots, coupled with his experience playing at the highest level was very appealing to a number of franchises, but he ultimately chose to sign with the Sixers as he said that he truly “trusts the process,” and sees them as the league's team of the future.

With Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Dario Saric in their fold, the 76ers are geared to be a perennial playoff contender in the years to come, given the young age of their core. Belinelli's addition will give them more depth at the shooting guard spot and another efficient shooter behind J.J. Redick. If he can drill shots from the outside, it will help clear up so much more space for the teammates who like to attack the basket and score on drives. He is expected to debut for the team on Wednesday against the Miami Heat, which will be a chance for him to light it up for the Sixers.
