Philadelphia 76ers small forward Tobias Harris spoke honestly about whether he believes the Orlando games are safe during an interview with ESPN's First Take. The Sixers swingman is ready to play in the “bubble” games at Walt Disney World, but he knows it's not the safest thing to be doing right now.

“That’s a tough one for me to answer,” Tobias Harris said. “I would say that if we’re going to be safe, then let’s play. If the league, if my fellow brothers in the NBA want to go out and play, I’m with playing. I know my Sixers teammates, they want to go hoop, so I’m with my team to go hoop.

“Do I think necessarily it’s the safest thing? No. That’s just straight up and down. I don’t think it’s the safest thing. You look around the world, the cases continue to rise. But that’s also on the NBA to make sure we’re in a safe environment.”

COVID-19 cases continue to rise not just in Florida, but across the country. With that said, there are a number of players who have expressed concerns with the resumption of the season at the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Harris and the Sixers have already clinched a playoff spot for the 2020 postseason. The team will play in eight seeding games before the playoffs begin.

Prior to the league getting suspended in March, Harris was averaging 19.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists for the Sixers in 65 games. The New York native, who signed the richest deal in Sixers franchise history last summer, was also shooting 47.2 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line.
