The Los Angeles Lakers aren't the only team interested in Oklahoma City Thunder swingman Paul George.

The Philadelphia 76ers reportedly are also interested in George as they may make a run at the free agent this summer, according to The Inquirer.

The Sixers can’t publicly say so until July 1, but it doesn’t take an engineering degree to realize the team is prepared to do whatever it takes to sign James, a four-time league MVP. Oklahoma City small forward Paul George is another free agent the Sixers have interest in, according to folks around the league. He would be a great fit because of his ability to shoot the ball and defend.

It's been well-documented already that the Sixers are interested in LeBron James or Kawhi Leonard. George is naturally next in line behind those two and would be almost as exciting for the Sixers if they were able to obtain him.

The Sixers made a nice run this season making the playoffs and getting to the second round where they were eliminated by the Boston Celtics.

Head coach Brett Brown said the team is one more star away from competing for a title. Adding George alongside Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid would surely put the Sixers in the conversation next season.
