Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is a known trash-talker, so it's understandable that he's going to talk smack while making his shots. However, Embiid shushing Sixers fans is probably the last thing you'd expect to see from him.

Embiid managed to sink a dagger to officially end the game between the Sixers and the Chicago Bulls. While the Wells Fargo Center was celebrating the dagger, Embiid motioned for the crowd to stay silent and rudely told them to shut up.

NBA Central had a clear video of the big man making the gesture, perhaps to show that he is tired of all the hate he receives.

The Sixers have gotten a lot of flak over the past couple of weeks due to their poor play. In spite of having one of the best rosters on paper, they sit fifth in the Eastern Conference standings.

Charles Barkley even went out of his way to dump on Embiid, Ben Simmons and the Sixers for being soft.

The win is meant to shut these people up, but Joel Embiid knows that it will take more than that to quiet the criticisms surrounding them.
