Not only is Keldon Johnson one heck of a basketball player for the San Antonio Spurs. Apparently, he's also a big Mariah Carey fan, so much so that he listens to “We Belong Together” every single day.

Check Johnson's interview below, per Evan Closky of KENS 5 Sports. It is worth noting that as soon as Johnson heard “Mariah Carey,” his face immediately lighted up.

As a background, the Spurs arranged a little “finish the lyric” segment for its players to celebrate Valentine's Day. It seems like the team was on to something, though, as they picked “We Belong Together” which Johnson has a rich history with.

Patty Mills even noted that the song has “Keldon Johnson written all over it.”

Carey's retweet may have somehow inspired Keldon Johnson to put up a great game on Valentine's Day against the Charlotte Hornets. In the Spurs' 122-110 victory, Johnson had 18 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

His teammates, too, were probably energized as well. Apart from Johnson, five other Spurs players scored in double-digits–led by Dejounte Murray who had 26 points on top of 12 rebounds and six assists. Derrick White was right behind him with 25 points.

The Spurs have now won two straight games. They have a chance to extend it to three games on Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons.
