The San Antonio Spurs have not been overly busy this offseason, but they did make a big free agency splash on Saturday afternoon.

According to a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Spurs have agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract with free agent forward Marcus Morris.

Morris is a huge addition for the Spurs. He will be adding much-needed depth to the front-court and will also provide offense and defense. Add in the fact that he is an enforcer and the Spurs fans are going to love him immediately.

Last season with the Boston Celtics, Morris was an incredibly underrated part of the team. He ended the season with averages of 13.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. Morris shot 44.7 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 37.5 percent from the three-point line.

At 29 years old, Morris is going to be a very valuable part of the Spurs' postseason hopes. He is joining a talented roster that features LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan, and Dejounte Murray, who is returning from a torn ACL. This is exactly the kind of move that the Spurs needed to make.

Expect to see Marcus Morris embrace the culture that Gregg Popovich has formed in San Antonio. He is the ultimate team player and will fit in perfectly. The fans in San Antonio have be excited about this addition.
