Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young was served a dose of his own medicine by San Antonio Spurs guard Dejounte Murray on Friday at the AT&T Center.

The marvelous 21-year-old second-year player has been breaking a lot of ankles in the 2019-20 NBA regular season, but he found himself on the receiving end of one early in the first quarter of the Hawks' visit in Texas.

At the 8:25 mark of the first period, the Spurs were swinging the ball around and Murray received the rock at the top of the key where he was met by Young's defense.

Dejounte Murray took one strong dribble going to his right before executing a quick crossover to his left, sending Trae Young to the floor on his back.

Young could only watch as Murray finished the play with a right-handed lay-up, trimming the Hawks' lead to three, 10-13.

Entering Friday's showdown, Murray is averaging 10.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game this season after missing all of last year due to an ACL injury. On the other hand, Young is putting up 29.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 8.5 assists on a nightly basis.
