Steelers star Ben Roethlisberger's barber has come out to clear the air on the Pittsburgh star's controversial haircut. Carlos Norman, the owner of Norman’s Cuttin’ Edge Barber Shop issued a statement regarding the Roethlisberger's incident. ESPN's Brooke Pryor, took to twitter to share the shop's side:

In the statement made by Norman's attorney Marc Kohnen, he says that the barber shop remains closed and that the haircut given to the 38-year old Steelers QB quarterback was merely a “personal favor” and that no cash was received or exchanged for the deed. Kohnen adds that the two are close personal friends and that his client's business was in full compliance of the law and regulations of the state.

Norman's Cutting Edge Barbershop is in Allegheny County, in Pennsylvania which is still under lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. All of the members of the state (as in most of the city's and states around the world) have been advised to stay home to to try and flatten the COVID-19 curve, which Steeler star seemed to have disregarded with the trip to his go-to cutter. This also didn't bode well with PA Governor Tom Wolf who was distraught about the incident.

As much as we are all excited to see the newly trimmed Steelers star to be fully healthy and back on the field throwing Hail Marys, let's be real – the virus is still out there and none of us is immune to it. Stay home, folks. Oh, and wash your hands while you're at it.
