After suing the NFL and numerous teams, Brian Flores has finally found a new home. Although he's not a head coach, Flores joins Mike Tomlin's coaching staff with the Pittsburgh Steelers. As if this team needed any more help on defense, the team aims to continue dominating their opponents. Defensive star Cam Heyward weighs on what the hire means to this franchise.

According to Pro Football Talk, Heyward sees the Brian Flores hire as one of the best the Steelers could have made. Even though this is a demotion for Flores, he should be able to regain interest as a head coach next season. However, Pittsburgh's defense is likely to be elite once again. Here's what Cameron Heyward had to say.

“It's very similar to when we signed coach (Mike) Munchak. You heard of his leadership and what he had done as head coach, but you knew the type of coach he was through his players. Even when Flores was in New England (Patriots) he got the most out of his defenses. When you start looking at the track record, when you bring in different coaches, you start to get pretty excited.” – Steelers star Cameron Heyward.

We'll see how it plays out for Pittsburgh. Although the defense is stacked, the offense is lacking some valuable assets. If the Steelers can manage to reconstruct the offensive line and find a legitimate replacement for Ben Roethlisberger, we could see this franchise take over the AFC North once again.

It'll be interesting to see how the Steelers shape up next year, as the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens will be tough competition. With Brian Flores helping out the defense, anything is possible.
