Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster got some fantastic news that any young player would love to hear on Monday, as he was named to his first career Pro Bowl appearance. He'll replace teammate Antonio Brown.

There has been a lot of controversy as of late with the Steelers, but this is a great bit of news for the young receiver no matter the underlying reasons. Smith-Schuster was not only the team's leading receiver in yards with 1,426 yards on 111 receptions, but the team voted him as team MVP for the 2018 season. JuJu is a fantastic young player with an incredibly bright future, and his positive attitude will take him a long way in this league.

The 22-year-old was incredible from start to finish and deserves to be named to the Pro Bowl for his great efforts this season. The offense has been elite with his addition last season, and he has been the perfect complement to Antonio Brown. The Steelers have quite the dual threat with JuJu and AB making it nearly impossible for opposing defenses to double-team either player.

It takes a lot to outproduce Brown, but quarterback Ben Roethlisberger established an undeniable trust in Smith-Schuster this season. Although Pittsburgh missed out on the playoffs for the first time since the 2013 season, they showed a lot of promise with young players such as JuJu, running back James Conner, and linebacker T.J. Watt. These talented young play-makers are giving the city of Pittsburgh and fans world wide a lot to look forwards to.
