The Pittsburgh Steelers have been anxiously working on a deal with star defender TJ Watt and rumors swirled about him not playing if a deal wasn't reached. Well, everybody can relax now. The Steelers and TJ Watt have agreed to a massive deal on Thursday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Yes, you read that right. Watt and the Steelers have agreed on a massive four-year extension worth north of $100 million and $80 million guaranteed. Moreover, Watt is now the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL and is essentially worth every single penny.

Steelers quarterback ben Roethlisberger recently said that they should pay him whatever, and they are doing just that. Rest assured the Steelers weren't taking any chances and did something unorthodox and tossed a ton of money to Watt.

So, fans, players, and coaches can sleep well after Watt has signed, which means he will be ready to roll for Week 1 after this historic deal. In all honesty, this isn't something the Steelers usually do, so definitely this shows how good of a player Watt is and how much they value him.

TJ Watt gets paid and now Mike Tomlin's team can put everything behind them and get ready for Week 1.
