The Phoenix Suns have built a great roster and have made a deep playoff run thus far. They are led by guards Devin Booker and Chris Paul who were both All-Stars this season. The Suns have done a great job in surrounding these guards with players that fit well.

They have surrounded those guards with a wing in Mikal Bridges and center in Deandre Ayton. Both of these players have been monumental in helping the Suns make it far in the postseason. Adding more players that can play a specific role is always great for a team. The Suns have a shot to do that with the 29th pick in the draft.

Here are the 3 best options for the Suns at No. 29 in the 2021 NBA draft.

Suns' options for 29th pick in 2021 NBA draft:

3. Guard Miles McBride

Miles McBride drastically improved his draft stock in his sophomore season. He averaged 15.8 points per game along with 4.9 assists on 41.4 percent shooting from the three-point line. McBride wouldn't be a starter for the Suns but could be a great backup.

He is a good defender that would fit the role of bench guard to near perfection. He is a solid playmaker and good scorer that could be a great 6th man in the future.

If the Suns draft McBride they will be happy with the impact he would make.

2. Guard Ayo Dosunmu

Ayo Dosunmu had a great junior season and looks to be a solid player. He had a solid freshman and sophomore year but elevated his play and draft stock in his junior year. Dosunmu averaged 20.1 points per game along with 6.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists. He did this while shooting 39 percent from the three-point line and would be a great fit for the Suns.

He is another guard that wouldn't start for the team as they have Paul and Booker. Dosunmu could be a great bench guard for them as he fits everything they need. He is an all-around great guard as he can do a little bit of everything. His offensive talent is undeniable but he is also able to hold his own on the defensive end. He has the tools to guard a point guard or shooting guard which provides versatility.

If the Suns decide to go in the route of Dosunmu they will not regret it.

1. Center Day'Ron Sharpe

Day'Ron Sharpe is not as much of a scorer as the two guards but would be a great addition. The Suns don't have a traditional backup center behind Ayton as Dario Saric and Frank Kaminsky are stretch bigs. Sharpe would provide great rebounding off the bench in a traditional center role. He averaged 9.5 points per game along with 7.6 rebounds in his freshman season at North Carolina.

Sharpe is great at running the floor which would fit well in the Suns offense. The Suns would not go wrong if they were to draft Sharpe as he would be a great backup center.

The Suns are in a great position and adding another piece in the draft will only make them better. Whether it's adding a backup guard or center the Suns can't go wrong. They already have a core built and could become an even more lethal team with an addition in the draft.

Paul and Booker will continue to lead the way surrounded by Ayton and Bridges. Look for the Suns to add another role player in the draft that will help them go another deep playoff run next season.
