Alex Len can't wait until the Phoenix Suns play out the last five games of the season after candidly hinting at his departure from the team that drafted him with the fifth overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

“I’m looking forward to this offseason,” Len said, according to Scott Bordow of The Arizona Republic. “I think it’s going to be exciting. It’s the first time I’m actually going to have a chance to go where I want to go.”

Len has been mired in somewhat of an inconsistent role, regardless of the coach, playing 30 minutes one night and 10-to-15 in another, unable to gain consistency due to the flux in his playing time.

The 7-foot-1 Ukrainian has been swapped in and out of the lineup in recent years but hasn't helped himself despite the opportunities, following a head-nodding outing with a disappointing one and giving the coaching stuff many to doubt about his all-around ceiling.

“The last few years we’ve had three different coaches, the roster was changing every year. There was never really any consistency,” Len said. “It was like starting over every year. Yeah, stability and consistency will be something I definitely look for.”

Len is longing for a coach that will stick with him through the good and bad, but in a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately type of league, it'll be tough to come around, regardless of where he goes — let alone receiving a handsome offer in the offseason.

The 24-year-old boasts averages of 8.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game throughout this 2017-18 season.
