Devin Booker is among those who was snubbed in the All-Star game. With that said and no other activities during the extended break, the Phoenix Suns guard revealed that he plans to “get off the grid.”

Per Duane Rankin of AZ Central, Booker said he plans to spend time with his family and friends, which he believes what most players will also do.

Booker is in his fifth year in the league, but he has never made an All-Star team. This is a shock to most NBA fans as Booker has built a reputation as one of the best scorers in the league.

Some of his scoring achievements include a 70-point game, making him just the sixth player in NBA history to drop such number in a contest. He joined Wilt Chamberlain (six times), Kobe Bryant, David Thompson, Elgin Baylor, and David Robinson in that rare 70-point club.

His scoring prowess, defined by his mastery of the mid-range shot and stellar footwork, has gained comparisons to the late Kobe Bryant.

For basketball pundits, Booker's individual milestones and talent have been overshadowed by the Suns' poor performance over the past few years. For them, this is the sole reason why the 23-year-old has not been selected into an All-Star. After all, what matters at the end of the day are the victories.

Interestingly, the Suns star might have to change his plans. Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard recently spoke to the media about his desire to be replaced by Devin Booker in the All-Star Game. The five-time All-Star is set to miss this year's festivities due to a groin strain.

Will the NBA grant Lillard's wish? Will Booker finally play in the All-Star game?
