The Phoenix Suns currently find themselves in the cellar of the Western Conference despite the presence of All-Star guard Devin Booker. Because Booker has minimal help in Phoenix at the moment, it is definitely understandable that the prolific up-and-comer could use some advice from others throughout the league.

With that in mind, Denver Nuggets head coach Mike Malone recently provided Booker with some advice at this year's NBA All-Star Weekend.

“The talent is there, when you look at Devin’s accomplishments and numbers he’s put up,” said Malone, via The Athletic. “Obviously, the biggest thing against Devin is his team’s not winning. It’s just a matter of continuing to work, stay positive and find ways to help your franchise win and elevate your franchise.

“When you do that, people see you in a different light, and you’re more likely to get that All-Star nod.”

However, when asked to shed some light on Malone's advice, Booker refused to go into further detail.

“[Malone] gave me some great advice moving forward for everything I have to do,” said Booker, via The Athletic.

The 22-year-old Booker is currently in the midst of his fourth NBA season, all of which have come as a member of the lowly Suns. He was originally selected by the Western Conference franchise with the No. 13 overall pick in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft out of Kentucky.

Despite the team's struggles as a whole, Booker is now averaging an impressive 24.6 points per game through 44 regular season appearances in 2018-19.
