Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker was once again sensational against the Washington Wizards, scoring 50 points to go along with 10 rebounds and four assists. Even though they lost the game 124-121, the 22-year old guard received lots of praise from fans, players, and even his former coach at the University of Kentucky, John Calipari.

Calipari was Booker's coach when he was a playing for Wildcats.

Booker's individual performance has been amazing. Unfortunately, the back-to-back games where he scored at least 50 didn't result in wins. He scored 59 points against the Utah Jazz this week, but the Suns got blown out 125-92.

Booker is starting to introduce himself as one of the best scorers in the league. He's currently averaging 26.5 points while also dishing out close to seven assists per game this season.

But he clearly has no help in Phoenix, despite the team having a promising young core that also include last year's first overall pick, Deandre Ayton, and athletic forward Josh Jackson. The Suns currently have the worst record in the league, and will once again try their luck in the upcoming NBA draft.

Booker is considered one of the best youngsters in the NBA right now, and Suns fans are waiting for him to reach his prime so he can bring more success to Phoenix. The last time the Suns made the playoffs was almost a decade ago, when future Hall of Famer Steve Nash was still playing for the team.
