Phoenix Suns fans must be feeling anxious right now, ahead of Game 6 of the 2021 NBA Finals. One report from Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic surely wouldn’t help Suns fateful remain calm ahead of the must-win game for Chris Paul and company.

There has been a Scott Foster sighting in downtown Milwaukee. No announcement about officials for Game 6 has been made.

And that sound you just heard is the collective “uh ohs” from Suns fans, especially those who know very well the unfavorable playoff trend of Chris Paul games when Scott Foster is involved. As noted before, Chris Paul hardly wins in the postseason whenever Foster is part of the officiating crew, and the mere sight of the referee roaming downtown Milwaukee must be enough to send chills down the spines of Phoenix fans — and those who’ve made bets on the Suns right after Game 5.

According to Covers, teams that are favored at home by 5.0-9.5 points are 12-6 against the spread this season. If the closing line would be lower than 5.0, it still doesn’t look good for Suns bettors, as Scott Foster-officiated games under that spread have resulted in a 13-5 record for home chalks.

Still, it’s possible that Scott Foster would not be refereeing Game 6. After all, he has not refereed a game in the 2021 NBA Finals so far.

UPDATE:

Scott Foster is going to be among the referees officiating Game 6.

In any case, there will not be a shortage of drama for Game 6, as the Suns look to extend the series to a Game 7 at home.
