While the Phoenix Suns are still dealing with the impending trade of Eric Bledsoe, the center tandem of Tyson Chandler and Alex Len has seen the improvement the front office hoped to net by bringing the Maryland product along slowly.

Len is averaging 10.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game through this young season, providing a more consistent presence at the free-throw line and on the offensive glass, thanks to his 7-foot-2 frame.

The 24-year-old was forced to come back to Phoenix this summer after a dying free agent market during the offseason, which could pay big time if Chandler is traded along with Bledsoe, like general manager Ryan McDonough desires.

Len could net a deal in the $15 million annual range, according to Scott Bordow of The Arizona Republic, whether it is from the Suns or another team looking for a young center.

The former Terrapin is terrific at the stripe this season, shooting 79.3 percent on 5.8 attempts per game for the year and could only get better as he surpasses the 20-minute mark, to which he's been limited to his first four years in the league.

If the Suns trade Chandler and hope to stay young, they may opt to keep Len and make them the center of the future if they indeed hope to slate Dragan Bender as an oversized power forward, as they have been thus far.
