Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young is one of many names who could be in line to replace Bradley Beal on Team USA after he was put in health and safety protocols on Thursday. Beal will now miss the Tokyo Olympics and Young may get the call.

While there are numerous guys who are in the running like Julius Randle, Zion Williamson, Donovan Mitchell, and Ja Morant, Young certainly should be at the top of the list after what he did in the playoffs. He led the Hawks to the Eastern Conference finals after absolutely torching the Knicks and Sixers in his very first postseason. Trae officially turned into a superstar on the big stage.
While the chance to play for Team USA may not come this time around, he'll undoubtedly be putting on his country's colors sooner rather than later if he continues to play at such a high level.
