Arizona Cardinals wideout DeAndre Hopkins has let bygones be bygones with the Houston Texans, and that includes the recently fired Bill O'Brien.

Hopkins reacted to the firing with a classy response:

After a disastrous start to the season, the Texans decided to part ways with O'Brien on Monday. The Texans are 0-4 through Week 4, with their latest defeat coming against an also then-winless Minnesota Vikings. There were rumblings of O'Brien being on the hot seat, but nothing had been confirmed until the sudden firing.

Hopkins rose to stardom in Houston, playing some of his best football through seven seasons before ultimately being traded to the Cardinals in March with a fourth-round pick in exchange for running back David Johnson and a couple of draft picks. During his time with the Texans, he caught 632 passes for 8,602 yards along with 54 touchdowns. He was selected to the Pro Bowl three consecutive times in his final three seasons there.

Many wondered whether trading the Clemson University product was a smart move by O'Brien, who was also the general manager at the time. During the 0-4 start to the season, O'Brien came under fire for the move along with a number of other transactions that had occurred under his ruling.

Hopkins, on the contrary, has had a great first few weeks of action for the Cardinals. He has 39 catches so far for 397 yards along with one touchdown. He's has clearly already built a solid rapport with young Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray.

Both players are looking to lead the team to success far after the days of Larry Fitzgerald are long gone.
