Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien says that running back Lamar Miller is “good to go” for his team's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday, according to Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle.

Miller is dealing with an ankle injury that kept him out of the Texans' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend. Miller originally sustained the injury during Houston's win over the New York Jets two weeks ago.

The 27-year-old was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, but during Thursday's practice, he was able to do everything.

On the year, Miller has rushed for 913 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 4.8 yards per carry. In addition, he has hauled in 23 receptions for 163 yards and a score.

Miller, who played his collegiate football at the University of Miami, was originally selected by the Miami Dolphins in the fourth round (97th pick overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.

He played only scarcely during his rookie campaign, finishing with 250 yards and a touchdown, but three years into his career, Miller broke out, racking up 1,099 yards while reaching the end zone eight times as a rusher.

The Miami native spent the first four years of his career with the Dolphins before signing a four-year deal with the Texans in March 2016.

He tallied 1,073 yards and five touchdowns during his first year in Houston, but last season, Miller was disappointing, as he totaled just 888 yards and three touchdowns, recording 3.7 yards per attempt.

The Texans are currently the third seed in the AFC but can lock down a first-round bye with a win over the Jaguars and a New England Patriots loss to the New York Jets.
