The Houston Texans’ big win over the Miami Dolphins has been marred by a potentially serious knee injury to starting wide receiver Will Fuller. The Texans fear Fuller suffered a torn ACL on Thursday night, per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

Fuller will undergo an MRI on Friday to confirm the diagnosis of his knee injury. If Fuller did tear his ACL, he will obviously be done for the rest of the season.

Fuller suffered the injury in the fourth quarter as he collided with a Dolphins cornerback as they were battling for a ball in the end zone. He landed awkwardly on his right leg and immediately grabbed his knee. Although he walked off under his own power, he was quickly ruled out for the game.

Fuller was Houston’s leading receiver on Thursday night against the Dolphins. He finished with five catches for 124 yards, which included a 73-yard touchdown. He has 32 catches for 503 yards and four touchdowns through seven games this season for the Texans.

Fuller’s absence will be a tough blow to the Texans, who have now reeled off five straight wins after beating the Dolphins. Fuller has formed a tremendous connection with Deshaun Watson over the last two seasons. In the 11 games they’ve played together, they’ve combined for an impressive 11 touchdowns.

With Fuller out, the Texans will have to rely even more on All-Pro wideout DeAndre Hopkins and rookie Keke Coutee as Watson’s primary receiving weapons. Rookie tight end Jordan Thomas, who had two touchdowns against the Dolphins, could also see a bigger role moving forward.
