Oklahoma City Thunder second-year wing Abdel Nader had one of the most memorable moments of his young NBA career on Friday, as he threw one down against Los Angeles Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell.

It was the Clippers that emerged victorious in this one, thanks to the heroics of L.A. sixth man Lou Williams (40 points, four three-pointers, seven rebounds, five assists), but at the very least, Nader may have come away with the play of the game.

Nader scored only six points in the contest, but this ferocious and-one jam definitely provided a spark of energy for the entire team. In the clip, you can clearly see both Russell Westrbook and Paul George acknowledging the filthy slam, as they were jolted from their seats on the bench.

Nader has averaged only 11.3 minutes per ballgame this season, and he is currently putting up just 4.0 points, 0.5 three-pointers, and 1.9 rebounds per contest. Nonetheless, this is definitely the type of play that puts you on the map.

This was a disappointing defeat for the Thunder, following a tremendous 129-121 overtime victory against the Portland Trail Blazers the previous night. With the Houston Rockets logging their seventh consecutive victory against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, they were able to overtake Oklahoma to grab the third spot in the Western Conference.

The Thunder will have the weekend off, but will have another crucial matchup on Monday, as they take on the sixth-seeded Utah Jazz. The playoffs is fast approaching, and the battle for positioning in the West is definitely heating up.
