FOX Sports 1 sports host Colin Cowherd ripped onto Russell Westbrook in a story-time narrative of his career, predicting he wouldn't win any titles due to a “selfish” approach to basketball.

Cowherd went through this story time as a father telling his son how to share toys, using Westbrook as an example for someone who doesn't share, while others who played for the organization did.

The long-time talking head projected former teammate Kevin Durant winning six titles and James Harden winning three with six MVP awards, noting this was after they “left” Westbrook.

The narrative here gets lost in the comical exaggeration, but there is some truth in the satire.

Westbrook tends to make the game about himself and take over the game when his team is trailing, and while that has worked throughout the regular season — it has become a predictable factor for teams in the postseason.

Sure, Westbrook is averaging a triple-double this postseason with 20.7 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists per game through the first three games of the series against the Utah Jazz, but his average of 5.3 turnovers per game and woeful 36.1 percent shooting is just as concerning for this team that has to claw back from a 2-1 deficit on the road tonight.

Cowherd may be projecting a little too much and a little too soon into the future for the sake of comedy, but the fact remains that even with an All-Star core, the Thunder have proven unable to impress for a long stretch through the season, and even less in the playoffs, losing to an All-Star-less Jazz team that seems a lot more of a unit than its counterpart.
