Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams is not to be messed with.

The 7-foot giant from New Zealand is a physical player, and the Indiana Pacers had a firsthand taste at just how physical he is when the two tames played each other Wednesday, a game OKC won 100-95.

Perhaps the best example of just how physical Adams is came from the comments of Pacers forward Lance Stevenson, who described a certain play under the basket where one the Pacers tried to box out Adams for a rebound, per Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports.

This anecdote is quite hilarious only because it seems like Adams outworks practically everyone on the court when it comes to physicality. He's averaging almost nine rebounds game, a career high.

It's safe to say that not many players can handle Adams while he's under the basket fighting for rebounds or position on the offensive end. His sheer size would make even the burliest of NBA players proceed with caution.

Also, it must be quite off-putting for a player to hear Adams voluntarily ask for him to hit the Thunder center harder. It's almost masochistic.

One wonders how hard would a player have to hit Adams in order to deter him from getting a rebound. A good guess is might be, not hard enough.
