Oklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder played the role of heartbreaker on Sunday evening against the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics led the Thunder 104-103 and had the ball with just over 10 seconds to play. But Schroder stole the ball from Celtics point guard Kemba Walker and drove on in for the go-ahead layup:

The Thunder held on for a 105-104 win after Jayson Tatum missed a go-ahead jumper, capping a wild night in Beantown.

Schroder's steal capped a big individual night, as the 26-year-old finished the contest with 27 points and six assists.

Aside from snatching a win from under Boston's noses, the Thunder also pulled into a tie with the Houston Rockets for the fifth seed in the Western Conference. Oklahoma City are also just 1 1/2 games back of the Utah Jazz for the fourth seed.

Schroder has been an instrumental part of OKC's surprising success story. He is a leading candidate for the Sixth Man of the Year Award, averaging 18.9 points, 4.0 assists and 3.7 rebounds prior to Sunday's contest.

The Thunder are playing some inspired basketball, and finding new ways to win almost every night. Schroder proved as much on Sunday.
