Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook got into a quick tussle with Sacramento Kings big man Willie Cauley-Stein Monday night. But things cooled down thanks to Steven Adams, serving as the mediator and, in effect, securing his future as a bodyguard.

It all started when Westbrook delivered a playoff-type foul on Cauley-Stein as the center got up for a shot near the rim. After both players landed, it appears that the latter took offense to the former's hard tap as evidenced by his frustrated shove on Westbrook.

Of course, Russell Westbrook isn't one to let this occurrence get away. The Thunder superstar went jawing at Willie Cauley-Stein until they got separated by Steven Adams.

Now comes the best part.

Adams is an absolute grown man and he let Willie Cauley-Stein know this with his seemingly effortless push on the Kings center. Steven Adams was calm and collected the whole time, slowly pushing away a seven-footer with so much ease as if he was just a chair.

As Cauley-Stein tried to offer resistance, Adams can be seen saying “It's ok, mate. Let it go.” all the while. It must be quite assuring for Russell Westbrook to have an enforcer like Steven Adams behind him all the time.
