Patrick Beverley didn't have any box score stats worth boasting about. But his impact was felt loud and clear during the Minnesota Timberwolves' Play-In win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night.

Pat Bev wasn't bashful after the win either. That's just not how he is. Instead, he clowned the Clippers in the locker room while calling out his haters.

“What did I say at the beginning of the year? We're in the motherf–ing playoffs. They don't believe in us. I told you we was going to the playoffs. Cause nobody believe in me. Weak a– Clippers. Beat they motherf–ing a–. F– outta here,” said the Timberwolves guard.

Pat Bev then explained what he told his ex-Clippers teammates after the win.

“Take they a– home,” said the Timberwolves guard.

“Long flight to LA. Take y'all a– home.”

While some clowned Pat Bev and the Timberwolves for celebrating just barely making the playoffs entirely, the emotions were certainly real for the outspoken veteran. The 10-year pro was overcome with emotion after the victory while sitting on the sidelines, clearly letting out some healthy sobs after playing a key role in the win over his former club.

Patrick Beverley finished with just seven points on 2-for-8 shooting from the field. But his impact on the defensive end was undeniable, making several stops on one on one defensive matchups when his team needed him most. Talk your talk, Pat Bev.
