Buffalo Bills running back Frank Gore made history in spectacular fashion by joining the 15,000-yard rushing club with 109 yards against the New England Patriots. Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has no doubts about his eventual trip to Canton.

Gore has made it a habit of joining some elite company throughout his career. Henry acknowledged his status as a future Hall of Famer, via the team's official website:

“I love Frank Gore's game. He's a true Hall of Famer.”

Henry's praise should come as no surprise considering many of the running backs in the NFL today grew up watching. The veteran has displayed unparalleled durability and consistency throughout his 15-year career. Even his fellow peers recognize just how difficult it is to enjoy such longevity at a position that has perhaps the smalled shelf life on the field.

Gore spent the bulk of his career with the San Francisco 49ers where he tallied eight 1,000-yard rushing campaigns en route to five Pro Bowls. He has since lent his services to the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, and now the Bills. Despite growing older with each season, he has managed to etch out a role for himself on offense wherever he goes.

Henry is among the crop of young, talented backs that are hoping to enjoy a nice, long tenure in the NFL like Gore has while still remaining efficient.

Although there should be no question that he is headed for the Hall of Fame one day, it is safe to assume that he is hoping to prolong his eligibility as much as possible.
