Heading into his second campaign in the NFL, Tennessee Titans cornerback Adoree' Jackson is primed to take a leap forward in his development.

Beyond his skill set, Jackson has been largely touted for his physical ability on the field as he was previously a track and field athlete. It is something that Tampa Buccaneers star wide receiver Mike Evans has noticed off the bat in a joint practice with the Titans, according to Jim Wyatt of Titansonline.com.

“He is an amazing athlete,” Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans said of Jackson. “He can run, and his ball skills are off the chain. … I saw that flip – it was impressive.

“He’s a freak athlete, man. I wish I could do that still.”

The 22-year-old has the unique combination of skill and speed that could make him a star in the NFL over the next several years. His speed is certainly to his advantage as has allowed for him to keep up with opposing wide receivers while his ball skills have only made him a more effective defensive back in coverage. In his rookie campaign, he recorded 70 total tackles with three forced fumbles and 17 pass deflections.

Jackson has a chance to take that a step further in the 2018 campaign as he will be paired alongside former Pro Bowler Malcolm Butler, who could potentially help become a more well-rounded talent at his position. He has the physical gifts to be a factor; it's just a matter of him becoming a complete all-around player.

The Titans have a high amount of stock in him given that they took him with the 18th overall pick in last year's draft. Jackson has a bright future ahead of him that could see him become one of the young cornerbacks in the league over the next couple of seasons.
