The Tennessee Titans are viewed as one of the biggest threats to pry Tom Brady away from the New England Patriots in free agency. And apparently, they are feeling bullish about their chances.

Speaking on ESPN's Get Up on Friday morning, Jeremy Fowler said that he was told that the Titans “believe that they have a pretty good chance in a head-to-head match-up with the Patriots to land Tom Brady.”

Ironically enough, the Titans beat Brady and the Patriots in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs this past January. It represented New England's earliest playoff exit since the 2009-10 campaign.

Brady has spent the first 20 years of his career with the Pats. He's led the franchise to six Super Bowl championships. However, there appears to be a very real chance that the future Hall-of-Famer could leave the club later this month.

This has been a topic of discussion ever since the early stages of the 2019 season. But very few people actually thought that Brady would ever depart the only NFL franchise he has ever called home.

But now, the Titans, San Francisco 49ers and even the Las Vegas Raiders seem to mark potential landing spots for Brady.

Tennessee and San Francisco certainly make more sense than Las Vegas. Both the Titans and 49ers experienced a good deal of success this past season, with Tennessee reaching the AFC Championship Game and San Francisco making it all the way to the Super Bowl.

Could Brady be the piece that puts one of those two teams over the top?

The Titans seem to think so.
