The Tennessee Titans spent their last week on a bye. In their previous game, they found a way to win late against the Kansas City Chiefs. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is confident the team can continue their winning ways going forward.

Tannehill said there is understood confidence about the Titans: if they are close late, they can find a way to come away with a victory.

“It’s a week-to-week league,” Tannehill said via Titans Online. “It doesn’t really matter what you did in the past. I do think that with the success late in games that we’ve had, I think there’s a confidence level that we’re never out of it. As long as we’re in striking distance late in the game, I think we have that confidence that we can make some plays and win the game.”

Tannehill also said he has a lot of confidence in the guys around him, and he hopes the guys around him have that same confidence in him.

“I’d hope that there is a confidence level with me in there,” said Tannehell. “I know my confidence level in the guys around me is huge. Like I said, there’s a level of confidence there that no matter where we’re at, as long as we’re in striking distance at the end of the game, that we’re going to find a way to win.”

The Titans currently sit with a 5-5 record and are still in the playoff hunt. If they want to continue to climb up the standings, it's probably going to take some close victories.
