The Miami Heat have missed Chris Bosh, and Bosh has missed playing for them.

The very unfortunate recurring blood clot in his leg forced Bosh to miss the playoffs last season and most of the season the year before too.

Tyler Johnson, who signed a four-year, $50 million deal with the Heat this summer, recently talked about Bosh with the media. Johnson said Bosh stands eager to return.

Via the Sun Sentinel:

“Yeah, of course,” he said. “I mean, he was sitting out the same amount of time I was. I remember he was eager to get back last year. So we had those talks a lot last year. So I can only assume that he's kind of itching to get back and play in actual games.”

Bosh can still play at a very high level. He's no longer the 20 and 10 threat he once was during his prime, but he remains a very good defender and valuable offensive weapon as a big who can stretch the floor.

In 53 games, he averaged 19.1 points and 7.4 rebounds last season, and the year before, he put up 21.1 points and 7.0 rebounds in 44 games. Clearly, with a lot left in the tank, it would be a shame if Bosh is unable to make a comeback.

Health and safety is the top priority for Bosh and his family right now, though.
