Klay Thompson was not happy about losing in the NBA Finals.
It’s understandable with all of the hard work players put in for the entire year to go down the drain in one game, especially after such a historic season in Golden State.
Dwyane Wade visited Oracle Arena to watch Game 7 of the Finals, supporting his best friend LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
A piece of footage was leaked of Thompson walking in the tunnel, going right past Wade without speaking, looking at him, or acknowledging him.
It’s possible that both players were focused on what they were doing (Thompson on the game, and Wade trying to navigate his way around), even though they walked directly past each other.
Sure, Wade and LeBron are best friends, but at that moment nothing else mattered to Thompson but the loss. He scored the Warriors‘ last points with four and a half minutes remaining; they were held scoreless the rest of the way.
Wade later tweeted out:
The Golden State had a year for the books. Of course this will hurt but they have nothing to put their hands down about. Amazing series
