The Golden State Warriors ended last season with the highest scoring average in the NBA. With the addition of 2014 MVP Kevin Durant to their fold, it gives them another scoring weapon that can contribute to their already high-octane offense.

On Wednesday night, the Warriors proved once again that they can score in bunches in a hurry during their preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Warriors made an 8-0 run in only 28 seconds.

The wild sequence started with a corner triple from Stephen Curry who then made a behind-the-back assist to Durant for a dunk on the ensuing play. It was capped off by another fastbreak where Klay Thompson buried a casual three-point shot after a steal from the back-to-back MVP on the Lakers' possession.

If this is what can be expected from the 2015 champs, they will once again be one of the most exciting teams to watch this coming season. For other teams, it should serve as a challenge for them to amp-up their defensive schemes in order to stop the Warriors, who seem to have Durant already adjusted to their style of play.
