The Golden State Warriors' dynasty is best known for stars such as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. However, while those stars have been critical to the Warriors' success, players such as Andre Iguodala, who have starred in their roles, have also been just as important. Iguodala, who found his niche in Golden State, has taken teammate Jordan Poole under his wing.

Iguodala made a $20 million declaration about Poole, via Anthony Slater and Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic:

“The new sixth man is getting $20 million a year,” Iguodala said. “That’s the bottom offer for a guy like that, the Tyler Herros and Jordan Pooles. You got those few guys who are starters but for teams they are on, they’re sixth men. You don’t have a problem with going above and beyond taking care of them because you know they’ll be a staple player for your franchise.”

The Warriors veteran is right. The value of an excellent sixth man in the NBA has skyrocketed, as starting lineups have gotten more and more star heavy. That's where Jordan Poole factors in.

Poole, who is enjoying a career year at the age of 22, has many different directions he can go. He could, as Iguodala noted, search for a role that gives him 35 minutes a night and the chance at individual accolades.

Or Poole could opt for an Iguodala-like role with the Warriors and have a chance at winning while potentially being a $20 million-a-year man.

Jordan Poole could be the new Andre Iguodala for the Warriors.
