It continues to be quite a rough patch lately for the Golden State Warriors (54-19) and veteran small forward Andre Iguodala as the team continues to deal with a myriad of injuries, most notably last week's sprained MCL suffered by Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry.

According to a tweet from Melissa Rohlin of The Mercury News on Tuesday afternoon, Iguodala really misses Curry's offense in clutch situations the most.

“We don't have the luxury of relaxing on the offensive end. He bails us out a lot,” Iguodala said of Curry.

Iguodala also told Rohlin that he's developed a bit more of a leadership role with all of these guys out of Golden State's lineup due to injury.

“I'm talking more but not any louder. I got kids so I know what someone getting tired of your voice looks like on a person's face,” Iguodala said.

When it comes to Curry's injury, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is not taking any risks and is not going to rush his star guard back until he's healthy and it's completely necessary.

“We’re not gonna bring him back until he’s ready,” Kerr said on Monday afternoon, per a video from 95.7 The Game. “We’ll re-evaluate in three weeks, which we will, and in my mind, you don’t re-evaluate and say ‘oh, he’s good — I know he hasn’t practiced in three weeks, but go ahead, start the playoffs.'”

“We gotta protect Steph from himself, make sure he’s good and healthy and goes through the whole process of rehab and core work. Steph’s gonna wanna come back, because that’s who he is.”

The short-handed Warriors will look to pull off an improbable win tonight against a quality opponent when they host the Indiana Pacers (43-31) at Oracle Arena.
