The Golden State Warriors will be without Draymond Green and D'Angelo Russell when they take on the Sacramento Kings on Monday, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Russell will miss his fourth straight game with a shoulder injury after there was some optimism he would suit up. Green tweaked his ankle last game and will be getting one of the many nights of rest head coach Steve Kerr expects to give him in the near future.

Green hasn't had a rest day in a few weeks, but he did have some of Saturday's game against the Detroit Pistons off, playing only 22 minutes before he was ejected with 4:57 left in the third quarter as his frustrations boiled over. Kerr thinks his star forward is worn out:

“The last couple games he's looked tired,” said Steve Kerr of Draymond Green, according to The Associated Press. “I think you've got to remember that he's the lone the guy, lone holdover from the group that's been to the finals five years in a row. He looks tired to me. I've been trying to give him a night off here and there. We probably need to do that. I think he's just kind of worn out emotionally and physically.”

Kerr will have to manage that mix of physical and mental fatigue in hopes to have his nucleus intact once Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson return from their respective long-term injuries.

Curry suffered a broken left hand in the fourth game of the season, while Thompson is still recovering from a torn ACL suffered in Game 6 of the NBA Finals last year.

D'Angelo Russell has been battling a slew of injuries this season, playing in only 22 of the Warriors' 37 games this season.
