The Golden State Warriors have been the most successful team in the NBA the past three years, as they have made it to the Finals in each season during that stretch and won two championships. However, Draymond Green believes this campaign will be their best yet and gave out reasons why he thinks so.

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year spoke to reporters recently after their practice session and claimed that because of their chemistry, he and his teammates could have their best run this year. He then cited familiarity, as well the experiences they’ve had, as some of the things that could help them stay true to his words.

Following the addition of Kevin Durant last summer, the Dubs avenged their loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers and once again lifted the Larry O’Brien trophy back in June. They owned the best record in the league and did not appear to be seriously challenged on their way to the title.

Green’s comments are definitely bad news for the rest of the competition, as they have their core intact and now have the belief that they can surpass their dominance from a year ago. Should they play at a high level again and bring with them the confidence they exuded throughout the course of last season, they will remain the team to beat and could even win their third championship in the last four years.
